Installing Android Platform-Tools

Once you have successfully licensed Mission Builder, you need to install and configure the Android platform-tools.

Mission Builder will walk you through the process. To setup platform-tools, follow the instructions below:

1. Launch Mission Builder if its not open already.

2.  Click on ADB Import.

3.  Import ADB Tools window should appear.

4.  As indicated in Step 3 above, the first step is download ADB Tools. Mission Builder already opened up a webpage to download ADB Tools. It is most likely your default browser. In most cases, it may be Microsoft Edge.

5. Scroll down to Downloads section and click on Download SDK Platform-Tools for Windows.

6.  The Terms and Conditions window will open. Read the conditions and then scroll down to the bottom. Place checkmark next to you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions and then click on Download Android SDK Platform-Tools for Windows.

7.  Once it has been downloaded, go ahead and close your browser.

8.  Launch Windows Explorer and then click on the Downloads folder.

9.  Right click on platform-tools file and select Extract All…

10.  Click on Browse…

11.  Click on This PC | C: | Users | Public | Public Downloads and then click on Select Folder.

12.  Select Extract.

13.  Close Windows Explorer.

14.  We should now be back to Mission Builder. Next, click on the ADB Import button.

15.  Next, migrate to the C:\Users\Public\Public Downloads\. Highlight platform-tools and then click on Select Folder.

16.  Click on the Upload button.

17.  Then restart Mission Builder. If everything goes well, Mission Builder will open up and the ADB Import button will be gone.
